Where is Dale Abbey?
Dale Abbey is roughly midway between Derby and Nottingham, some four miles south-east of Ilkeston.  Coming from the south on the M1, or the east or west on the A52 leave at M1 J.25, travel north (s/p
Ilkeston) along Bostocks Lane, go straight ahead at traffic lights into Rushy Lane and Dale Abbey is signed to the left (No Mans Lane) in approximately half a mile. From the north (M1) leave at J26 and follow signs to Ilkeston.  Take A6096 from Ilkeston and travel through Kirk Hallam, continue towards Derby and after passing the windmill on the right take next left (s/p Dale Abbey) and you’re there!  It’s not quite as complicated as it sounds, but if you go astray the natives will always help!
