Solar Farm Application Revalidated – Consultation Now Open

Planning Application Revalidated – Consultation Now Open

Erewash Borough Council has revalidated planning application Ref: ERE/0825/0028. The application is now live again and open for public consultation.

Proposed Development:

Installation and operation of a solar farm for 40 years, comprising ground-mounted solar arrays with ancillary buildings and plant. The proposal also includes CCTV cameras, a weather station, access works and tracks, landscaping and ecological works, deer/security fencing, and temporary compound facilities for the construction phase.

Location:

Land to the west of Boyah Grange, Potato Pit Lane, Dale Abbey, Derbyshire.

Due to the scale of the development and the inclusion of an Environmental Statement, there are special publicity requirements. The consultation period has been extended to 30 days from the date of revalidation (3rd October 2025).

Members of the public, parish councils, and other interested parties are invited to view the application and submit comments during this period.

Parish Council Meeting:

The Parish Council will determine its response to this application at the meeting scheduled for Thursday 16th October at 7.30 pm, at The Gateway. Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting and may speak during the public open session at the beginning.
