Christmas Lights Switch On

Dale Abbey will once again come together to celebrate the start of the festive season at our annual Christmas Lights Switch-On.

Join neighbours and friends on Tuesday 2nd December 2025, gathering by the village Christmas tree just before 6:45pm for the countdown and switch-on. Once the lights are shining, everyone is warmly invited to The Gateway for refreshments and mince pies, along with santa on hand for children and some carols to be sung.

We are delighted to welcome the Mayor of Erewash, Rev Selby, and Father Christmas, who will help us mark this special community tradition.
