PARISH COUNCILLOR VACANCY

We currently have a vacancy for the Village Ward that we are looking to fill by co-option. We invite anyone who is interested in being considered to notify the clerk via e-mail or post. Any crimes or incidents need to be reported via the correct channels so is logged and if necessary investigated (not all crimes come to SNT). We see all the crimes so there is no requirement to CC individual officers into any email chains.

Christmas light switch ons

The Christmas light switch ons will take place on Tuesday 3 December at Kirk Hallam and Thursday 5 December at Dale Abbey from approximately 6.30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Music will be provided by Ilkeston Brass, the Mayor of Erewash Sue Beardsley and Reverend Christine French will be attendance.

Accident reporting A6096

For some time now your Parish Council have become increasingly concerned about road safety along the section of the A6096, top road, that runs through our Parish.

Some time ago Derbyshire County Council Highways Department changed the configuration of the white lines at the Cat & Fiddle Lane junction, which in our opinion made the junction more dangerous than it was previously.
